All our lake district holiday cottages are surrounded by farmland, are situated in the Lake District National Park and have wonderful views of the sea with the mountains behind. Close to the market towns of Broughton-in –Furness and Ulverston, our cottages are 9 miles from Coniston and all the watersports and facilities of that area. The landscape is totally unspoilt and you can walk straight from the door, through the fields and right up onto the fells…for as long as your energy lasts….! All our lake district holiday cottages have wood fires, so when you return in the evening you can enjoy a romantic candlelit evening in front of the fire, or, in the summer a delicious barbecue outside.
Our farm is a sheep farm, so in the spring the fields are scattered with newly born lambs. Our vegetable garden grows all sorts of organic vegetables which are available on your arrival together with freshly cut sweet peas and newly laid eggs. In the winter, we give our guests a bottle of wine instead! We are pet friendly and welcome children of any age!
Cots, high chairs and stair gates are all available.
